Bad breath is a condition that we usually encounter after feeding and when we wake up in the morning. The bad breath we encounter in these two cases is not considered a disease. But apart from these, bad breath that cannot be prevented is usually a symptom of a disease. Sinus and lung infections, diabetes, liver disorders, dry mouth, poor oral hygiene, tobacco products, alcohol, gum disease and tooth decay can cause bad breath. Oral odors of pathological origin should be guided by the dentist and receive appropriate treatment.
